Are you looking for a fun, creative, nonprofit summer internship that will teach you about event organizing, fundraising, and community development? Then apply to be one of our Scavenge the Ave interns! Join a great team, spend your summer on Mass Ave, and help us raise money and awareness for adult literacy programs.
The intern will be managing the Scavenge the Ave summer fundraising event. Intern will manage all aspects of the event: business solicitation, event logistics, ticket sales, communication, and strategy. Interns will learn many skills and will be able to apply the internship toward credit.
Scavenge The Ave is our annual summer fundraising event that takes place along the eclectic Massachusetts Avenue in downtown Indianapolis. The hunt is intended to raise awareness about adult literacy while giving people something unique and fun to do on a summer evening. Participants are invited to register their groups online and explore all of the fun businesses during the event. The event is scheduled for late July. Internship begins in early May and concludes after the event.
